Signature ritual — The Wine Country Blending: two wines, two lives, one glass. You each pour a wine you love into a shared carafe, blending them into something neither could be on its own — then take your first sip together as a married couple. It’s the ritual wine country was made for, led by Peter, a California RBS-certified wine professional. Ask about weaving it into any package.

Destination weddings

Have officiant, will travel

Getting married somewhere unforgettable? Peter officiates destination weddings — he has already married couples in Hawaii, and he would love to bring the same warm, personal ceremony to your beach, resort, vineyard, or mountaintop, wherever it is. You choose any of Peter's packages; you simply cover his travel and lodging, quoted up front so there are no surprises. For international destinations where the legal paperwork must be completed by a local official (or handled at home), Peter performs your ceremony while the formalities are taken care of separately — the way most destination couples do it.

Meet your officiant

Hi, I’m Peter.

I’m an ordained minister with a background in hospitality—which means I sweat the small stuff so you don’t have to.

I’ve been officiating weddings since 2012, and I bring 25 years in hospitality — much of it as a general manager — to every celebration. That experience will make your wedding day feel effortless and your most perfect day. From intimate vineyard elopements to joyful destination celebrations, every ceremony I officiate is personal, unhurried, and unmistakably yours.

Where I officiate

Peter brings calm hospitality and a heartfelt, bespoke ceremony to each Sonoma celebration.

Mendocino Wedding Officiant

Whether your day feels rustic, refined, or wonderfully wild, the ceremony is crafted around your story and surroundings.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

A little clarity goes a long way. Here are the things couples ask most often.

I book anywhere from one month to two years in advance. Wine country’s spring and fall seasons fill quickly, so the earlier the better—but if your date is open, it’s yours.

Just a marriage license from any California county clerk’s office. You both go in together with valid photo IDs—no blood test, no waiting period—and the license is valid for 90 days. I’ll take it from there on the day, guiding the signing and making sure everything is completed properly so your marriage is officially recorded.

Yes, you absolutely can—write your own, borrow classic lines, or mix the two. I’ll help you shape them so they sound like you on your best day.

Yes, I can. Rehearsal attendance is included with The Signature package and available as an add-on for Elopement and Intimate ceremonies. We’ll walk through every moment so the day itself feels effortless.

Yes—travel is included throughout Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino counties. Getting married further afield or planning a destination wedding? Let’s talk. I’ve officiated everywhere from Hawaii to wine country, and I love to travel.

That all depends on your religious views and what feels right to you. As an ordained minister, I can craft anything from deeply spiritual to completely secular—every ceremony is bespoke, built around your beliefs, your traditions, and your story. All couples and all love stories are welcome.

A 50% retainer reserves your date on my calendar, and the remaining balance is due two weeks before your wedding. Simple, transparent, no surprises.

We’ve done ceremonies in all weather—sunshine, ocean wind, and yes, rain. I arrive early, coordinate with your venue or planner, and we adapt gracefully so the moment still feels perfect, whatever the sky is doing.
